The Uganda U-20 women’s football team has announced its squad for the highly anticipated 2026 U20 Women’s World Cup Qualifier against Namibia.
Led by the experienced Coach
Sheryl Ulanda Botes who is also at the helm of the senior national women’s team, the squad comprises 32 talented players. Notably with defender Kaluya Bethany from Women Super League new entrants academy London City Lioness
The squad boasts a dynamic mix of seasoned and young players, showcasing the depth of talent in Ugandan women’s football from schools’ competitions to the FUFA Women Elite League and the top apex of Uganda’s Women League the FUFA Women Super League. Some of the standout players include Muduwa Peace from Kampala Queens, Agnes Nabukenya of Kawempe Muslims, and Lillian Nakirya of St Noah Girls.
