Pastor Wilson Bugembe has announced a second concert date for his highly anticipated “20 Years of Bugembe Music” celebration after tickets for the first show sold out completely.

The celebrated gospel artist and senior pastor at Worship House, Nansana, made the surprise announcement during a live interview on Capital FM on Friday morning.

“Because I am saying it for the first time, the entire show has been sold out… but because I am saying it for the first time… we are going to do Day 2!” Bugembe revealed.

He later confirmed on his verified Instagram account that tables are also back on sale for the new date, adding that “it’s going to be same fire.”

The first show, set for Friday, August 8, 2025, at Kampala Serena Hotel, marks two decades since Pastor Bugembe broke into the gospel music scene with hits like “Njagala Kumanya,” “Komawo Eka,” and “Bilibabitya.” Due to overwhelming demand, a second show has now been scheduled for Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the same venue.

Bugembe’s journey from a street child in Masaka to one of Uganda’s most influential gospel artists and preachers is widely known. Orphaned at a young age, he turned his life around through faith, eventually founding Worship House and Mercy Child Care Centre, a home for orphaned and vulnerable children.

The concert has received significant backing from MTN Uganda and Victoria University. MTN has facilitated discounted ticket sales via MoMo, while Victoria University offered scholarships to children from Bugembe’s charity—an emotional moment that was highlighted during the official concert launch.

Tickets for the second show are now available, with standard entry going for UGX 120,000 and tables open for reservation. Both concerts are expected to feature live gospel performances, worship sessions, and appearances from other top gospel acts such as Justine Nabbosa, Levixone, and Copybly.

Fans are encouraged to secure their seats early, as demand remains high. For many, this concert is not just a musical milestone but a testament to Bugembe’s resilience, faith, and impact on Uganda’s gospel scene over the last 20 years.
