With two days left to the mouth watering CHAN encounter between the Bafana Bafana of South Africa and Uganda Cranes, news coming in shows that ordinary tickets are already sold out.

The final match of Group C in the 2024 Total Energies African Nations Championship will be played at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole on Monday Aug, 18. Tension and excitement are already building up among Ugandan fans ahead of the clash which will be a do or die affair as the Uganda Cranes are looking forward to breaking the jinx of not qualifying past the group stages of CHAN.

The online ticketing system is experiencing high traffic as people are endeavoring to book seats inside the Mandela National Stadium to be able to witness the football battle on Monday. The only tickets currently available on the system are under the silver and premium category as it clearly displays that the ordinary tickets are sold out.

The tickets were however expected to go on sale today at 10pm . This has started raising a number of concerns from Ugandans on social media who are wondering how all the ordinary tickets have been purchased within a short period, guessing that the system may have been opened early in the morning. Others are having a thought that it may be a technical glitch from the system.
