The tickets for the quarter final match between Uganda and Senegal have been put on sale today according to the Local Organizing Committee.
The Local Organizing Committee of CHAN in Uganda has communicated that CAF has informed them that Match Day ticket sales for Saturday’s Quarter Final match between Uganda and Senegal start on Wednesday August 20, 2025 at 9 a.m.
“We encourage fans who would like to purchase match day tickets for Saturday to do so as early as possible to avoid the disappointment that comes with attempts at late purchase of match day kids,” said Dr Denis Mugimba the Chairperson Communication and Signage Sub-committee while speaking to the press this morning.
“We reiterate the message from CAF that all CHAN-2024 tickets are only available
online. CAF has not availed any physical tickets for CHAN-2024 since Match Day one. If you are buying a physical ticket, there is a very good chance you have been duped and bought yourself either a fake or a duplicate ticket,” he has emphasized.
According to the Committee, CAF has reduced the maximum to three tickets purchased by each person to limit the likelihood of some people buying genuine online tickets and hoarding them to re-sale on the black market at exorbitant prices which will give more people the opportunity to buy tickets.
The LOC is anticipating an early match ticket sale-out based on the trends observed since the CHAN-2024 tournament kicked-off here in Uganda, where the Uganda Cranes attracted a full capacity stadium.
The Cranes will face Senegal’s national team – the Lions of Teranga on Saturday August 23, 2025 at 5 p.m. at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole in another thrilling match that will decide their stay or departure from the tournament.
