Renowned Ugandan musician Douglas Mayanja, popularly known as Weasel, is currently hospitalised at Nsambya Hospital following a suspected hit-and-run incident that has left many in shock. The Goodlyfe singer is feared to have sustained serious injuries, including possible fractures in both legs.

According to emerging reports, the incident allegedly occurred in Munyonyo, where Weasel was reportedly knocked down by a car. Eyewitnesses and close sources claim the vehicle was being driven by none other than his wife, Sandra Teta.

While the full details surrounding the circumstances remain unclear, speculation is rife that the incident may have stemmed from a domestic dispute. Authorities have yet to confirm whether Sandra Teta is officially under investigation, but the matter has stirred conversations online, with fans expressing concern over the singer’s condition and the couple’s turbulent relationship history.

Medical personnel at Nsambya Hospital have confirmed that Weasel is receiving treatment, though an official medical update on his condition is still pending.

The Mayanja family has remained tight-lipped, and no official statement has been issued by Weasel’s management or Sandra Teta.

Weasel rose to fame as one half of the Radio & Weasel duo, a powerhouse in Uganda’s music industry. His fans across the country and beyond are praying for his swift recovery and calling for clarity and justice in the unfolding situation.
